Is Invoice Studio free to use?
Yes. Create and download PDF invoices without signing up or paying. An optional one-off support link appears after a successful PDF download request; invoices remain free whether or not you support us.
Which invoice currencies can I choose?
Choose from 18 currencies: GBP, EUR, USD, CAD, AUD, NZD, CHF, GHS, NGN, ZAR, INR, JPY, CNY, AED, SAR, KWD, BHD and OMR. GBP is the default. Changing currency keeps your entered amounts, so review your prices before downloading.
Can I add VAT, GST or sales tax?
Yes, choose Custom tax and enter a tax name such as VAT, GST or Sales tax, plus a percentage to apply to every item. You can also select UK VAT for per-item treatments. Custom tax supports rates from 0% to 100%. You choose the applicable rate and check your local invoice requirements; the app does not determine tax eligibility or local compliance.
Only UK VAT invoices with positive VAT in another currency require a manual GBP exchange rate to show VAT payable in sterling. Custom tax and No tax need no GBP exchange rate.
Where are my invoice details stored?
Your business details, logo, current draft and PDF creation stay on your device. The app remembers one draft in this browser; invoice details are not uploaded. Browser data and downloaded settings files are unencrypted, so keep them private.
Can I reuse my branding next time?
Yes. Your setup is remembered in this browser. After creating your first invoice, Save settings downloads a reusable file with your branding, business details, currency, tax setup and payment defaults. Load settings restores it on another visit or device after confirmation. Settings files exclude client details and the current draft.
How do I send the invoice to my client?
Download PDF, then attach it to your usual email or share it yourself. PDFs use English text and A4 pages; longer invoices continue across pages. Invoice Studio does not email invoices or store a full invoice history.

Support is a voluntary one-off payment to Port233 LTD. £5 is a suggestion; you can change the amount on Stripe. Invoices stay free whether or not you support us.
For payment help or a full refund of your support amount, email inv-generator@port233.com within 30 calendar days of payment. Port233 handles refunds manually through Stripe and covers any unrecovered processing fees. This does not limit your applicable statutory rights.
Your invoice details, logo and PDFs stay on your device. We do not include them in the checkout link. Stripe processes the payment details you enter on its hosted checkout; Stripe and Port233 retain payment records separately. Clearing saved data here does not remove those records.
