How do I import an invoice?

In Invoice Studio, download Business copy (JSON), then choose Import invoice here. We validate the complete invoice before asking to replace your receipt draft. You must enter the payment amount and method yourself. Customer copy PDFs and settings-only files cannot be imported as invoices. You can also choose Create receipt from the current invoice in Invoice Studio.

Can I record a partial payment?

Yes. Enter the amount previously paid and the amount received this time. The outstanding balance is calculated from the itemised document total. Overpayments are blocked. Earlier payments are entered manually; this tool keeps one current receipt, with no payment ledger or automatic accumulation.

Does this verify payment or replace an invoice?

No. You confirm payment from your own records. The receipt acknowledges only the amount received this time and does not replace a VAT invoice. No payment is collected, verified or refunded by this app.

Can I reuse my branding?

Load settings from Invoice, Quote or Receipt Studio after confirmation. Other tools’ numbering and banking instructions are excluded; receipt numbering stays independent. Receipt settings exports contain setup only, not payer or payment details.

Where are receipts stored?

Your current receipt and PDF creation stay in this browser. Import is local; files are never uploaded. Browser data and exported files are unencrypted. Download your receipt before replacing the draft and keep private files safe.
